• Non-Human Subjects Research: Examples: bench/lab work, cadaveric studies, device bench testing.
• Retrospective / Chart Review: Examples: EMR reviews, secondary data analysis, registries
• Prospective Observational / Behavioral / Minimal Risk: Examples: surveys with follow up, outcomes tracking, educational interventions, behavioral surveys, interviews.
• Interventional – Non-Investigational: care process changes, ancillary procedures not under IND/IDE.
• Interventional – Investigational (Drug/Device): Examples: IND drug trials, IDE device studies, off-label use under evaluation
