Schedule of Fees

The following are The Queen’s Medical Center’s startup, ongoing and closing fees for clinical trials. All startup fees are assessed independent of IRB approval or subject enrollment and are non-refundable. All pricings will determined per study.

Please note that in addition to the business fees, your study will also occur IRB related fees.

  • Administrative Startup
    • To cover Business Office effort in review, negotiation and execution of contract and budget; setup study in Clinical Trial Management System
    • Study subscription fee
    • Study Coordinator and Research Staff’s effort in working with Business Office related to contract and budget.
  • Coverage Analysis (includes study build)
  • Investigator Meetings (Principal investigator and study coordinator time spent traveling and attending meetings)
  • Site Initiation
  • Study Setup and Maintenance in CTMS
  • Regulatory Study Startup (Research Coordinator)
  • Pharmacy Setup
  • Lab Startup Fees
  • Overhead
  • Serious Adverse Event Reporting, per hour (based on PI and Coordinators hourly rate)
  • Screened Failed
  • Re-Consenting Fee, per hour (based on PI and Coordinators hourly rate)
  • Remote/Onsite Monitoring
  • Setup of Remote Monitoring Access in EPIC
  • Monitor Change Fee
  • Annual Study Subscription (CTMS)
  • Annual Study Maintenance
  • Annual Document Storage fee
  • Annual Pharmacy Maintenance Fee (for multi-year studies)
    • Applied on the anniversary of the date that the initial Set-Up Fee was applied.
    • Covers but not limited to continuing IP management (temperature controlled storage, regular inventory), document and data management, and query responses.
  • Pharmacy dosing/dispensing fee
  • Coverage Analysis per Protocol Amendment (Sponsor-Initiated)
  • Contract Amendment Admin Fee (Sponsor-Initiated)
  • Training due to Amendments (Sponsor-Initiated)
  • IRB Submission Preparation Fee
    • Fee for the work performed for the preparation and submission of IRB submissions associated with initial, resubmissions or revisions of the Protocol, Informed Consent Documents, annual review, or reviews required for closure of the Study
  • Study Closure Fee
  • Pharmacy Close-Out Fee
