Clinical trials are regularly reviewed at The Queen’s Medical Center to ensure patient safety and wellbeing throughout their research participation experience, and to satisfy regulatory obligations, institutional requirements, and federal regulations as part of a comprehensive research compliance program. In accordance with this goal, research studies are held to the highest standards when they undergo good clinical practice review, cost analysis and billing evaluation and support document integrity checks to confirm adherence with the values of our institution.
In addition, this affords an opportunity for training and education towards excellence in research. All research studies are subject to monitoring. Receiving notification that a study has been selected does not imply wrongdoing or misconduct.
If you have additional questions about monitoring program, please contact Nina Bermudez (nbermudez@queens.org) or Rebecca Ohta (rohta@queens.org)
