QMC’s committment to research investigator and staff education is essential to the establishment and growth of research qualified physicians and personnel at the center. Below are areas that intend to assist research physicians and personnel interested in or conducting research at the center.

CITI Training

The Collaborative IRB Training Initiative (CITI) program is a web based training program developed by experts in the “IRB community”. It consists of a basic course in the Protection of Human Research Subjects for biomedical and social/behavioral research. Completion of the basic course is mandatory for all research personnel listed on a new application to the QMC RIRC.

Clinical Research Conferences

QMC will host regular, monthly conferences that feature:

Presentation of clinical research studies
Presentation and discussion of new research proposals
Occasional clinical research education with guest speakers
